I just got back from visiting my baby niece Lola! Both of Lola's parents--my sister, Sandy, and brother-in-law, Todd--have brown eyes, but both of Lola's grandfathers have blue eyes. Lola lucked out with the recessive gene.

True, anon, Lola is 6 months old, and baby's eyes sometimes change color up until 9 months after birth.
Even if Lola's eyes do turn brown, we'll probably still love her.
